The Design consists of five timber towers huddle together at Helsinki harbour, offering
remarkable views from its lookouts while welcoming visitors into the city. It pursuied
to redefine the museum experience by enhancing verticality. The propsal offered a
sustainable, landscape integrated design which was challenging the boundaries of
wood construction.

My role in the competition team was to act as a kind of team leader and as a link
between our Finnish (Jukka Karhunen, HKP) and Danish (Gehl Architects) partners.
Naturally, I participated in the design work and producing high-quality presentation
materials. I also helped our office with the exhibition arrangements and the
preparation of lectures.
